BBC Radio 6 Music - Step Out of the Ordinary

BBC 6 Music - Step Out of the Ordinary is a wild ride through multiple ages of animation, promoting BBC Radio 6 Music with Lauren Laverne. We start in a 1920s rubber hose style and move through eras until we get to a modern style. We follow a pair of feet on their journey from bed to breakfast; a harrowing path we all face each morning.

This was one of those ‘get five different designers and mash ‘em all together’ type ones- it was so nice to work with so many different artists, and amazing to be able to work with such great music - Wet Leg, David Bowie, Little Simz, and New Order.

We put this one together in about four weeks- super speedy. As always it was surreal to turn on the TV and see something I’d made onscreen.
