Superorganism - The Prawn Song

The video for Superorganism - Prawn Song is a surreal journey to the bottom of the sea featuring singing 3D dolphins, texting pixel crabs, augmented reality sea creatures, and all of Superorganism starring as prawns on the barbie.

The video was commissioned by Apple Music. Fun fact- this was the first time I ever had to write a treatment for something I wanted to make.

This was the last video from the Superorganism record and I used it as an opportunity to learn how to direct 3D animation. We had a team of four 3D animators, which really split my brain apart. Dolphins are a scary creature (one dolphin is cute, multiple dolphins are a pack of apex predators) and I tried to make the dolphins as close to velociraptors as possible. You know; singing, talking, swimming velociraptors.
