Viviankrist - Behind Mirror (Tucan Remix)
The video for Viviankrist - Behind Mirror (Tucan Remix) is an overwhelmingly dark, live-action horror story following a demonic entity as it is pulled against its will from its home in a desolate forest to central London, drawn by a young artist who wishes to become a monster.
This was my first fully live-action video and involved A LOT of favours from friends as there was no budget. I’d just read Salem’s Lot by Stephen King and watched Hereditary so I really wanted to do something relentlessly dark with no jokes. It’s still cartoonish with its larger than life characters, props and locations (we spent a fun day running around Hackney Wick Woodland with smoke grenades), but I’m really proud of myself for avoiding any schtick.
